At Humility Homes & Services, volunteers are an important part of our work to ensure everyone in our community has a place to call home. Whether you have a few hours to give or are looking for an ongoing way to get involved, there are a variety of opportunities to put your time, talents, and skills to work.

Volunteers support HHSI in many ways—from helping at the Fresh Start Thrift Store or Corner Closet Donation Center, to assisting with housing and property projects, organizing donations, supporting special events, or lending a hand with administrative needs.

Whether you enjoy working behind the scenes, getting your hands dirty, organizing a group volunteer project, or connecting with others, there is a place for you at HHSI. Every hour volunteered helps strengthen our programs and supports our mission of ending homelessness in the greater Quad Cities area.

   We have various volunteer opportunities available, including assisting at our Corner Closet Donation Center or the Fresh Start Thrift Store, helping with yard maintenance at our housing units, and supporting administrative operations. Whether you can volunteer for a few hours a week or on a more flexible schedule, we appreciate any time you can dedicate to supporting our mission. Each available opportunity should provide estimated time commitments and expectations.
