  • YHDP Service Coordinator

    Report To: Housing Assistance Supervisor

    Description: The YHDP Service Coordinator is responsible for providing support and case management to participants in HHSI’s Youth Homeless housing program. The duties include working with youth ages 18-24, by assisting them obtain housing through either Rapid Re-Housing/Transitional Housing, while providing supportive services and case management to maintain stability, and permanent housing, while helping them navigate community resources, by connecting them to eligible mainstream resources to help them transition to stabilized housing sustained by the participant. Additional duties include helping participants become self-sufficient, increasing income of cash and non-cash benefits, creating a monthly budget, teaching daily living skills, assisting with accessing health care resources, assisting with community resources such as LIHEAP, FIP, WIC, SSI ect.

  • Community Engagement Coordiantor

    Report To: Chief Development Officer

    Description: The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for supporting outreach efforts and increasing community awareness of the organization’s work. This role works under the direction of the Chief Development Officer and is responsible for tracking engagement, reviewing campaign performance, and assessing overall effectiveness of special events and volunteer projects.

    Responsibilities include; coordinating volunteer efforts by recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers and assisting with community events. The Community Engagement Coordinator communicates the organization’s mission and services to the public, in a clear and consistent way. Additionally, the Community Engagement Coordinator supports the planning and execution of fundraising events, organizing volunteers, and assisting with donation efforts.

  • Emergency Shelter Monitor

    Job Description:

    The Shelter Monitor will assist guests by checking participants in, providing them hygiene supplies, basic referrals and support as they move towards permanent housing. Must have excellent communication skills, previous work experience with crisis management, mental health issues and substance abuse preferred. Must be capable of preserving the confidentiality of participants. Qualified candidates will have a solid work history, reliable transportation and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Maintenance Technician

    Humility Homes and Services, Inc. (HHSI) is seeking a qualified individual to work as a Maintenance Technician.

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance in the repair of buildings, facilities and equipment. Must be able to fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system maintenance as well as landscaping work, including mowing and snow removal. Must be able to maintain records and schedule preventative and routine maintenance to properties.
