Providing Stability for Families
E.L. is a single mom with a special needs son and who will pay a HHSI set rent of $692 for this 3-bedroom instead of the Fair Market Rate of $1,247.
With your support, E.L.’s home now has fresh paint, new flooring and cabinets, a new shower and vanity, and new appliances on the way.
This family will have a safe place to sleep for many nights to come because of your help.
Meet MiMi
Mimi has worked for HHSI for 4 years as a Shelter Monitor. During this time, staff used a conventional washer and dryer to clean all 88 beds of sheets and comforters every day. Because of capital improvements, we added an industrial washer and dryer that clean bedding in half the time!
You make this work possible!
Together, we can end homelessness in the Quad Cities Area. One home at a time.
