We offer two opportunities to increase housing opportunities through endowments.

- Quad Cities Community Foundation - Go to the Quad Cities Community Foundation Donations site for more information on contributing to the Humility Homes and Services, Inc. Endowment Fund. Donors to the Community Foundation Endowment funds are eligible for the Endow Iowa Tax Credit Program.
Your monetary donations and donations of useful goods make our work possible. They directly support those struggling to regain housing independence.
Did you know that most of the items below can’t be bought with food stamps? Yet, all of us would agree that most of these items are considered basic necessitates. You can help buy purchasing extra when items are on sale. Amazon Smile is a great way to purchase many of these items and Amazon makes a monetary donation as well.
Paper goods: Toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, napkins
Cleaning supplies: Multipurpose cleaners for kitchen and bath, trash bags, laundry soap, hand dish soap, magic erasers, glass cleaner, brooms, mops, dustpans
Personal hygiene products, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, brushes, bar soap, diapers & pull ups, diaper wipes
Kitchen products and dinnerware: towels, sheets in twin sizes, blankets
Small appliances (toasters, coffee pots, small crock pots), vacuum cleaners (bagless preferred)
New mattresses and boxsprings in twin size
Quad City supporters contribute new and gently used, clean and in working order, furniture, appliances, clothing and household goods for our participants. If we receive more than our families can use, we sell the surplus at our semi-annual Fresh Start Benefit Sale. All the proceeds from these sales go back into the programs to support our participants.
Donations are accepted Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm at the Donation Center located at 3805 Mississippi Ave. Davenport.
Unfortunately, due to limitations, we can’t accept these items:
Carpeting used not-cable-ready-tv’s, computers, printers and monitors, furniture in need of repair or cleaning, hide-a-beds, cribs with drop down sides or cribs that don’t meet current safety standards.
We have limited pick up availability seasonally for furniture only. Please call the office at 563.326.1330 for details and scheduling.
